October 28, 2014 – Mechanicsburg, Pa. — The Navy awarded Client Solution Architects LLC (CSA) with a $3.7M Naval Supply System Command (NAVSUP) Weapon System Support (WSS) follow-on contract to provide supply chain management, procurement, data validation and analysis services. The contract, which consists of a base year, one one-year option and one final option six-months, will be supported out of NAVSUP WSS Philadelphia, a field activity of NAVSUP.

As the team was reduced over the past 18 months, they were able to maintain, or exceed in some cases, the expected productivity of delivery to client. Jimmie Rice’s creative technique of using a metric, weight-based analytical techniques to focus the team on reducing the Stock in Transit (SIT) and Supply Discrepancy Report (SDR) backlog by volume and dollar value was exceptional. In addition to the analytical techniques, Jimmie applied the concepts of gamification whereby he was able to reward the top three monthly performers with “Dragon Slayer Trophies”. The ability to take a Guidance Consulting based approach from theory to practice has validated that these basic concepts, when properly applied, will yield tangible results,” said Todd Yanik, CSA’s Director of Operations, Northeast Region. “Because of our success in the past the contract period of performance has grown from the previous 18 months and has expanded to 30 months. This is a clear indication that what we provide to the client has made a difference and that they want more of it. We look forward to working in and supporting the new areas of Commercial Asset Visibility Validation for NWSS to provide process improvement for asset visibility, inventory accuracy and cost savings. CSA and its teaming partners General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT), Orb Solutions Inc. and Limelight Consulting have been tasked with assisting NAVSUP WSS in the new efforts to achieve Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR) compliance over the contract’s period of performance.
