October 1, 2018 — SAN DIEGO, Ca. — CSA Guidance Consulting announced that Aaron Robbins has been selected as CSA’s new vice president of talent development. Aaron assumed the role on October 1, 2018, and is responsible for the firm’s 360-degree employee experience, from first contact through the development of an employee’s career.

“Our workforce powers the technology, information and knowledge we use to solve our clients’ toughest challenges,” said David J Hickey, CSA’s CEO. “To deliver on our promises and provide big-picture thinking in a short-sighted society, we prioritize the development of our people. Aaron’s leadership and extensive industry experience allow him to innovate our approach to training and employee development—the result is educated, empowered teams who pioneer solutions that redefine big and bold.”

For the past year, Aaron has led CSA’s talent development team and has implemented many performance-based processes and cross-functional training aimed at enhancing employee productivity, performance and value. In his new role, he will have a broader responsibility as he oversees an employee’s full journey by leading human resources, talent acquisition, career development, internal communications and employee engagement.

“Every day we deliver innovative and effective solutions for our clients,” said Aaron. “When you harness the power of teams, increase productivity and implement a process-improvement mindset, the results can be unprecedented. Just this year, one of our largest clients has seen $100M in cost savings, cost avoidance and recapturing of excess funds. These results are possible because of the environment and experiences we create for our employees. We will always look to hire the most talented, purpose-driven people, and once they get to CSA it is our responsibility to empower them with the tools, resources and training to develop unprecedented solutions for their clients.”

Aaron has held multiple leadership positions for CSA: Southwest regional director and task lead for CSA’s largest San Diego SPAWAR contract. Before joining CSA, Aaron was a federal civilian employee at PEO C4I and SPAWAR Systems Center (SSC) Pacific. As a government employee, Aaron was the assistant program manager for the submarine ADNS program and the project manager for the Network Integration and Engineering Facility (NIEF).
